YouTube Monetization Requirements (Updated 2026) + Beginner-Friendly Checklist

 

Gusto mo na bang magpa-monetize sa YouTube pero nalilito ka kung 500 subs ba o 1,000 subs ang kailangan? Hindi ka nag-iisa—kasi may 2 levels na ngayon ang YouTube Partner Program (YPP): may early access at may full monetization (ads revenue).

  • PLUS isa sa dalawang ito:

    • 4,000 valid public watch hours (last 12 months) OR

    • 10 million valid public Shorts views (last 90 days)

Important note sa watch hours:

  • Ang watch hours from Shorts feed hindi counted papunta sa 4,000 public watch hours threshold.

Important eligibility rules (strikes, 2-step, policies)

Kahit ma-hit mo ang numbers, dapat pasado ka rin sa basic checks/policies:

  • Follow YouTube channel monetization policies (authentic/original content, compliant channel, etc.).

  • Advertiser-friendly content rules matter per-video (kahit monetized channel ka, puwedeng “limited/no ads” ang isang video).

  • No active Community Guidelines strikes (common requirement na tinitingnan sa eligibility).

Step-by-step: Paano mag-apply sa YouTube Partner Program

  1. Open YouTube Studio

  1. Akala mo counted ang Shorts watch hours sa 4,000

    • Hindi counted ang watch hours from Shorts feed for that threshold.

  2. May 500 subs ka pero wala kang “Entry tier” sa Earn tab

    • Possible na hindi pa rolled out sa account/region mo yung expanded program.

  3. “Public watch hours” mababa kahit marami kang views

    • Baka maraming views ay from Shorts feed or videos na hindi counted (depende sa source). Check analytics breakdown.

  4. Denied kahit na-meet metrics

    • Usually policy-related: reused content, repetitive/spammy uploads, or monetization policy issues. Review channel monetization policies.
